As we fans were patiently waiting for the Space Battleship Yamato Compilation Film to drop, Japan declared Tokyo in a state of emergency.
The production committee for The Era of Space Battleship Yamato Film announced its postponement followed by a notice.
The 120-minute film was supposed to be released in 36 theatres & promotional items like limited edition DVDs were supposed to be up for sales.
But this new emergency state has made production teams take drastic measures keeping the health of the people in mind.
Space Battleship Yamato is about mankind’s struggle to survive in a post-apocalyptic world while an alien race named Gamilas plans their Extinction.
